TF.E · The Faceless Experiment The Internet Playbook

Start here

It’s yours. One decision before you read it.

Most Instagram guides are a list of things to do. This one is a list of things people claim, with what is actually established beside each and what would prove it wrong. That is only useful once you know who you are talking to.

In order

Three things, and the first takes ten minutes

1

Check what arrived

Three items. Open each one now rather than on the day you need it.

The Internet Playbook — TF.E edition To read Our cover and furniture. This is the one to read.
The Internet Playbook — white-label edition To rebrand The same manuscript, editable, with our branding off. This is the one the licence lets you resell.
The resale licence To keep What you may and may not change. Short, and worth the five minutes.
2

Begin with Chapter 1

It asks you to decide one thing: who the account is for, and what you will show them. Everything after it depends on that answer.

It takes about ten minutes, and the rest of the book will wait. The real risk after buying something like this is a long file sitting unopened, and one small decision beats an instruction to read.

3

Keep an untouched original

Before you change anything, save a clean copy of the white-label edition somewhere you will not overwrite it. The licence does not require this. Every reseller who skipped it has wished otherwise.

Only if you are reselling

What to check before you publish your version

Rebrand the white-label edition, never the TF.E one. You may change the cover, title, logo, colours, fonts and page layout. The manuscript text stays as written — and so do the qualifications attached to every claim in it.

Check your export for

  • Missing text where a text box reflowed and clipped
  • Cropped tables, especially any that run wide
  • Figures that dropped out of the export entirely
  • Type set too small to read after a layout change
  • Any TF.E marking left behind — check the running footer on a printed proof, not just on screen

Figure 7.1 in particular

It quotes the platform’s own wording, hedges included — the phrases marking which numbers are estimates and which are still in development. The licence requires those exact qualifications to stay intact and readable.

It is the single most likely place a careless re-export breaks the licence rather than merely looking untidy. Read it on your proof before you publish.

There is no minimum price and no royalty. We sell it at $49 and would rather you held near it, but that is a preference, not a term. Your own customers resell on the same terms you have.

If something is wrong

Reply and say what is not working

A file that will not open, a missing item, a question the licence does not answer: hello@thefacelessexperiment.com, with your order reference and what you are seeing.

The experiment that tests the claims in this book runs in public from 26 October 2026. The Claim Register was published before it began, and the results go up against it either way.
